FROM RACE FANS FOOD DRIVE. THE 2 DRIVES OVER THE WEEKEND COMBINED FOR
OVER A HUNDRED POUNDS OF FOOD FOR THE LOCAL FOOD BANKS. YOU RACERS AND
FANS MAKE ME PROUD TO HAVE YOU CALL BUTLER "HOME". WITH ONE MORE DRIVE
THIS WEEKEND AT THE UPCOMING PRACTICE, IT IS SAFE TO SAY THIS WILL HELP
THE LOCAL FOOD BANKS VERY MUCH.

With
the season's first practice just a couple of weeks away, I ran down to
the track to check on the updated progress. The crew was hard at work
as usual. Dustin had the grader on the track, Austin had the bobcat out
working on the track also. Shawn and Torry were working to repair the
washed out section of grandstands in turn one. There was a trailer
parked in the walkway with a pile of new lumber on it, all of which was
going into the grandstands. The guys were on the grounds mowing the
grass and I saw the concession staff working on the concession stands.
The
season's first practice will kick off on April 21st from 1pm to 4pm
with a pit pass cost of $15 and the grandstands will be free with the
donation of a non perishable food item.
AS
THE COOL MONTHS ARE HERE, I THOUGHT IT MAY HELP EVERYONE THROUGH BY
DOING A BUTLER PHOTO BLAST. THIS CAN BE DRIVERS,FANS, EMPLOYEES ETC.
FROM LAST YEAR AND BEYOND. CHECK BACK OFTEN AS I PLAN TO ROTATE THESE
FREQUENTLY.
